HOW OUR CHURCH BEGAN
HOW OUR CHURCH BEGAN
One Vision in Christ Community Baptist Church was founded in 1998 by Rev. Dr. Justin H. Hunter, Sr. Our first semi-permanent home was in a small store-front building located at 3308 E. 10th Street. God would soon bless the One Vision family with its first permanent home with land to build at 7108 Coffman Road, Indianapolis, Indiana.
The church was constituted in 2000, and became the first multi-ethnic church in Indiana affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. The church was organized with 5 charter members. Our present church property, 6580 E. 46th Street, was acquired in February, 2006.
We invite you to visit One Vision and to experience the love and dedication of this small and awesome family of Christian believers.
